Technology continues to transform healthcare through telehealth, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and digital engagement tools. Yet one of healthcare's most valuable resources remains difficult to replicate: continuity.

Continuity represents accumulated knowledge, trust, and context developed through long-term relationships between patients and providers. These relationships create a deeper understanding of family dynamics, medical history, and treatment preferences than episodic encounters can provide.

As healthcare becomes increasingly complex, continuity should be viewed as a strategic asset. Technology can strengthen continuity, but it cannot fully replace the value of trusted clinical relationships.
