We offer physician availability 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. In the event that your primary pediatrician is not available, you can take comfort in knowing that one of our caring pediatricians will always be able to provide personal attention to your child.
History
Pediatric Health Care Alliance was established in 1997, when 26 long-standing local pediatricians joined together to form a single-specialty pediatric group practice. They wanted to build a comprehensive network of care for children, while remaining independent of powerful health care systems that were developing in the area.
PHCA has since grown to become the largest pediatric group on the West Coast of Florida, with more than 50 board-certified pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners who have dedicated their careers to providing the best medical care for your children. PHCA currently offers 14 neighborhood locations throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties.
Physician Owned & Locally Grown
Our practice remains independently owned by our pediatricians, which means that all decisions about health care services for your child are made entirely by our team of pediatricians.
We have strong ties to the Tampa Bay community, beginnning when one of our founding offices was established more than 40 years ago in South Tampa. Many of our providers are from Florida, and graduated from local universities and medical schools. We are committed to growing our practice for the Tampa Bay community.
Practice Management
In order to ensure our offices are focused entirely on patient care, our group is contracted with a management services company - PHCA Administration, LLC. This company provides all of the administrative services for our group, including billing, insurance contracting, information technology, human resources, and other business functions. The PHCA medical board of directors works very closely with the the management company executives, many of whom have been involved with PHCA since our group was founded in 1997.
PHCA Administration is a fully-owned subsidiary of Novelle Health Partners, LLC, a practice management and data sciences company. Novelle offers a complete menu of population health services, to assist medical practices in improving patient experiences, quality outcomes, and cost efficiencies. PHCA physician shareholders are part owners of Novelle.
