Nicole O'Keefe
LCSW
“My passion is working with adolescents because they possess one of life’s greatest qualities, resiliency. Building an authentic and trusting rapport with each client fosters a safe therapeutic environment where they have the opportunity to discover their strengths and use them to tackle hardships head on and become the greatest version of themselves.”
Nicole O’Keefe, LCSW, will be joining our Lutz Team in August 2023. She is originally from the Tampa Bay area, specifically the Carrollwood area.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Florida State University in 2008 and her Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida in 2012.
Her areas of specific interest include Adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, ADHD, learning disabilities, and stressful life transitions. She primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy when working with clients and focuses on a strength perspective. She also uses mindfulness, art, and play to enhance the therapeutic process.
0utside of the office, Nicole enjoys traveling to new destinations with her family. She will also be found cheering on her son at the soccer field on the weekends, taking her golden doodle on long walks, or curling up with a good historical fiction book.
