"The ability to have an impact on a child’s health from birth to adolescence is a great privilege of pediatric healthcare. I love having the ability to make a difference in the lives of my patients and their families."
- Nurse Practitioner Johnson
Nurse Practitioner Johnson joined PCHA in March 2022. Her home location will be the Trinity Office and she will rotate between several other sites, providing coverage as needed. She brings over 5 years of experience as a registered nurse prior to earning board certification as a pediatric nurse practitioner, and we are proud to welcome her back as she completed one of her APRN clinical rotations at our Trinity Office with Dr. Ejaz.
Originally from Fort Myers, NP Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Florida (Gainesville, FL). She relocated to Tampa and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of South Florida (Tampa, FL).
Nurse Practitioner Johnson enjoys working with children, and her areas of interest in patient care include preventative health, newborn care, and mental health.
She was also part of PCORI Autism Research at the University of Florida, where her research focused on education-based interventions for the care of patients with autism.
Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and University of Florida football games (go Gators!) with her husband.
