Dr. Perkins was one of our first pediatric doctors and is a founding member of PHCA. She was previously with Northside Pediatrics, one of six practices that joined together to form PHCA in 1997, and currently works out of our Northside Office in North Tampa Florida.
Dr. Perkins received her undergraduate degree from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia (1982) and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, Florida (1986). She completed her internship (1987) and residency (1987) in Pediatrics at the University of South Florida - Tampa General Hospital.
She has been Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 1989.
Dr. Perkins is much more than just a Pediatrician. She says that her favorite job is "mom", and she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, running, and reading.
