Carlos J. Pagán, MD joined PHCA in 2019 at our Brandon Community Office, and later moved to our South Tampa Office. We are pleased to welcome him back to Brandon Community as of July 2022.
During his medical training, Dr. Pagán gained experience caring for children and infants in the PICU, NICU, newborn unit, medical-surgery unit, and emergency room settings. He also completed his outpatient clinical rotation at our PHCA South Tampa Office.
Dr. Pagán received his Bachelor of Science in Biology summa cum laude in 2012 from University of Puerto Rico Cayey Campus (Cayey, Puerto Rico). He earned his Doctor of Medicine magna cum laude in 2016 from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and completed his pediatrics residency in 2019 at University of South Florida.
Dr. Pagán has been board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2019. His interests in patient care include childhood obesity and preventative medicine.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends in his free time. He also enjoys swimming and traveling.
