Pediatrics is a rewarding and powerful field because we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families. Children and adolescents are the future of our communities, so it's crucial to a healthy and educated next generation. I am dedicated to helping my patients be healthy and achieve their full potential in life by providing them quality care and making a positive impact on their lives.

Dr. Hernandez-Figueroa joined PHCA in 2022 at our Suncoast Office.
She is a 2014 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, with a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Molecular Biology. In 2019 she earned a Doctor of Medicine from Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed her Pediatric Residency in 2022 at the University of South Florida.
She has an extensive volunteer history with various health initiatives, including educating kindergarten students on anticipatory guidance and injury prevention, providing back-to-school physical exams, and community outreach and donation drives for victims of Hurricane Maria in 2017.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies or Netflix, going to the beach, and amusement parks, and traveling
