Ally Chase, LMHC joined PHCA in 2020 as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. As part of our Mental Health Services department, she provides individualized counseling services to PHCA patients. Ally has over 6 years of experience in counseling, and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in both acute and private practice settings. She has specialized training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), sand tray therapy, and art therapy.
Ally received her Master of Arts summa cum laude in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015 from Argosy University College of Behavioral Sciences (Sarasota, FL). She also received a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Ecology in 2009 from University of Vermont, Rubenstein School of Natural Resources (Burlington, VT).
Ally has been board certified as a Mental Health Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) since 2017. Ally’s areas of interest in patient care include LGBTQ+ issues, self-harm reduction, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief, and family-relationship issues.
Ally is also a certified yoga teacher and received specialized training in teaching yoga and meditation to children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family exploring local parks, visiting zoos and aquariums, and caring for their pets. She also enjoys painting, cooking, home decorating, and bird-watching.
