“Pediatrics is my soul.  Losing a baby myself, the field of pediatrics has an immense sense of purpose for me. My commitment is to the busy mom who wants to be the 'best mom.  I owe to the children, to make everything 'ok' for them and to give them a sense of security. The gratitude for making me part of their family keeps me going".

She completed her Pediatric Residency in 2005 at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, NY.

Subsequently , Dr.Raguthu completed 2yr of Neurology fellowship at NYU, New York.  She then worked as an  urgent care pediatrician at Montefiore medical center, New York and then as an Emergency room pediatrician.

Dr. Raguthu has experience of being in private practice for 10yrs. She merged with PHCA to offer her patients extended services.

Her areas of interest   are asthma and allergies, childhood obesity and adolescent behavioral problems. With her expertise, she will help your child to  mitigate the need  for   urgent care and emergency room visits.

Dr. Raguthu enjoys traveling along with her husband and their 2 children. Visiting ancient temples of India “connects me to the mystique of the human evolutionary process” she says. Taking trips with friends and family is something that she looks forward to every year.  She likes to connect with nature while taking long walks after a busy day.  She loves to watch sunrise and sunset, different cloud formations and the evolution of rain and rainbows from her condo.

She enjoyed being able to say” Everything is OK” when her kids were growing up, and the kids would say, “Mom you always say, “Everything is OK”. That is the job of a pediatrician; to make everything OK. That’s what we do!

If you are in search of a new Tampa pediatrician in the Wesley Chapel area, Dr. Raguthu is a great choice!
