APRN Jessica Hodges will be joining our Big Bend Team in June 2026. She is a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, and has more than 14 years of pediatric nursing experience in hospital, specialty, and outpatient settings. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (2026). She is also a member of National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Her areas of interest include preventive care, adolescent health, developmental care, family-centered care, health promotion and adolescent transition readiness. She enjoys partnering with families to support growth, development, wellness, and helping children thrive.
Her passion for pediatrics began early, growing up alongside her sister and seeing firsthand the impact compassionate providers can have on a child and family. Watching her mother advocate for her shaped how she views patient care and inspires her commitment to pediatrics.
She values creating a medical home where families feel supported and empowered and especially enjoys the relationships that grow over time in pediatric primary care.
She is married, a proud mother of two, and is part of a military family with her husband and son serving in the Navy and Army. Outside of work, she enjoys running, and spending time with her family.
