Kenneth Hearn
MD
“My philosophy revolves around a family-centered approach to health and development. Often the factors that make a child healthier and develop into well-adjusted adults depend on and lead to improved health of the whole family unit. By meeting each child and family where they are and with their unique circumstances in mind, my hope is to be a positive influence on each family that trusts me to help care for their child”.
Kenneth Hearn, MD will be joining our Crossroads Team in August 2023. He grew up in an Army military family living between Germany and Texas. His last stop was McDonough, GA, which is where he completed high school and stayed for college and medical school. He is conversationally fluent in German.
Dr. Hearn earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology, from Piedmont College (Demorest, Georgia) in 2016 and his Doctor of Medicine in 2020 from AU/UGA Medical Partnership (Athens, Georgia). He completed his Pediatric Residency in 2023 at the University of South Florida, training at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Hearn is board eligible in 2023.
His areas of interest are newborn and preventive care (specifically positive health habits).
Dr Hearn’s wife is a local veterinarian and a Florida native. They were both college athletes at Piedmont in Georgia (she in lacrosse and he played soccer). They enjoy the water in sunny St. Pete, especially paddleboarding with their dog, Moose. On any given Saturday, you’re likely to find them watching the Bundesliga, Premier League, or see them at Al Lang Stadium cheering on the Rowdies!
