Natalie Wichelt, MD joined our Big Bend Florida Team in September 2023 at our office in Riverview FL. She grew up in Papillion, Nebraska.
Dr. Wichelt earned her Bachelor of Arts and Religious Studies at the University of Kansas. She went on to the University of Nebraska Medical Center earning her Master of Public Health, Public Health Practice (College of Public Health), and her Doctor of Medicine (College of Medicine). Her residency was at Wake Forest Baptist.
Dr. Wichelt has been board-eligible since the fall of 2023.
Her specific areas of interest are in pediatric global health and public health with clinical interest in newborn care, urgent care, and infectious disease.
Outside of our Riverview FL Office Dr. Wichelt loves to travel, go on adventures, and spend time with her husband and their 2 pups “Softie Pants the dachshund, and Forrest the golden retriever”.
