As a pediatric Advanced Practice Provider, my philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that every child deserves compassionate and holistic care. When I interact with young patients and their families, I prioritize building authentic connections and fostering trust. By actively listening and engaging in shared decision-making, I aim to empower families to actively participate in their child’s healthcare journey. As a mother, I know the importance of 100% confidence in the person you’re entrusting to care medically for your child, and I take the responsibility of that role whole heartedly. I am dedicated to providing each child and family with genuine and compassionate care.

Jamie Hamilton has made our experience amazing. She is attentive and compassionate. I refuse to take my son to any other doctor. She was the only doctor who had listened to my concerns about my son when he was a newborn and saved his life by ordering a test for pyloric stenosis when 4 other doctors said it was “normal” spit up. We cannot be more thankful for her.

Jamie Hamilton, APRN, CPNP joined our FishHawk Florida team in July 2023. She has over five years of experience providing pediatric care in clinical pediatrics.
Originally from Atlanta Georgia, Nurse Practitioner Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has worked in various pediatric care settings in Georgia and Florida since 2013.
Nurse Practitioner Hamilton has been board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board since 2019. Her areas of interest in patient care include patient health/ patient care such as nutrition, asthma, breastfeeding, preventive care, and adolescent care. In addition, she is passionate about Type-1 Diabetes management and education as she was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes in childhood. She is also very passionate about helping mothers with their breastfeeding journey, childhood development and adolescent mental health.
Outside the office in Lithia, FL, she loves spending time with her husband, two little boys and their pup. She and her family enjoy going to the zoo and to the beach! She also really enjoys traveling to new places, photography, reading and scuba diving!
