Nurse Practitioner Mai joined PHCA in June 2020 at our Lutz Office. Prior to joining PHCA, she provided clinical care, consultation, and education to pediatric kidney transplant patients and their families at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, and she also brings over five years of experience as a registered nurse on a pediatric medical, surgical, and transplant floor at Duke University Hospital.
Nurse Practitioner Mai received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 from Duke University School of Nursing (Durham, NC)
Her interests in patient care include preventative care and education, breastfeeding, childhood obesity, and early childhood education and literacy. She has been board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board since 2017.
Nurse Practitioner Mai recently relocated to Tampa from Chicago. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, trying new restaurants, and cheering for Notre Dame football.
