Nurse Practitioner Loflin joined our Big Bend team in January 2022. This was actually a return to PHCA, as she previously completed her clinical preceptorship at our Big Bend and Fish Hawk Offices.
She is originally from the mountain town of Boone, NC, and completed her nursing education in Nashville, TN. She became a Registered Nurse in 2020 and earned a Master of Science in Nursing in 2021, both from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
Nurse Practitioner Loflin has been board certified since 2021. Her areas of interest in patient care include lactation, helping first-time parents with any questions or concerns, and being an outlet for teens and mental health during their adolescent years.
Nurse Practitioner Loflin prefers using her middle name “Ryan”; outside the office, she enjoys cooking and getting out on the ocean, and she is a big fan of our “Champa Bay” sports teams. She recently relocated to South Tampa where she loves walking her puppy Mako.
